Re-Opening Summer 2020
Published: 4th July 2020
We are pleased to announce that in line with Scottish Government advice Glenloy Wildlife will be re-opening for business from July 15th, when Phase 3 of the recovery programme comes into effect. We look forward to sharing the fantastic wildlife and scenery of the West Highlands with you. Given the need to prevent further outbreaks of Coronavirus we will be implementing a range of measures and restrictions to protect clients and indeed ourselves from possible infection. We thank you in anticipation of your understanding and forbearance in complying with these necessary measures.
Initially we will be available for Pine Marten Breaks of two nights or more, and Bespoke Holidays that will be exclusive to socially isolated groups. We plan to start running scheduled holidays from the 29th August, but until we enter Phase 4 of the recovery programme these will be limited to 4 people (or a maximum of 6 if in a single socially isolated group), and may be subject to alterations from the current holiday description. We will contact guests already booked on wildlife holidays to discuss this. Day trips will only be available to resident visitors with a maximum of 4 people (6 if in a socially isolated group). https://www.gov.scot/publications/coronavirus-covid-19-framework-decision-making-scotlands-route-map-through-out-crisis/
Further information on new health and safety procedures in relation to our wildlife experiences may be found HERE. All our holidays will be run subject to any further restrictions or relaxations of current guidelines pertaining to Covid-19 by the UK or Scottish Governments. For this reason, we will not be taking deposits with bookings, but will expect full payment 48 hours before arrival along with a declaration of health status. In line with Visit Scotland guidelines we are now certified ‘Good to Go!’ goodtogoscotland
